A Walk In The Park

Not exactly a walk in the park, but it was a  nice weekend for an outdoor dog show.  There were a lot of great Chesapeake Bay Retrievers entered this weekend.  The weather was hot and sunny, and Storm seemed more relaxed in the outdoor environment.  She finished in the ribbons all three days!  She even won a toy for her placement today. :)

Hmm...this doesn't look like a dog show.

It’s Show Time!

Yes, its Show Time and it is all about Storm.  She is entered in several upcoming shows, including some outdoor shows.  Storm would much rather be fetching a bumper, dokken or a duck in a field or in a pond than waiting around a show ring.  Hopefully after a few weekends of shows she will discover that dog shows aren’t so bad, and unlike hunt tests, you get treats while you are doing it! :)
