One morning while we were on vacation we had some visitors.

Hey, Who Left This Bird Seed Here For Us?
I'll Keep Watch. The Rest Of You Eat!

The 2 brown dawgs tried to sneak up on them.

Let's Look For Those Turkeys
Where Did They Go?
I Can't Find Them

They were nowhere to be found.

That Was Exhausting!

Have a restful weekend!

  1. LOL the 15 or so wild turkeys we had roaming our property for months have disappeared – maybe they hitchhiked out to you? 😉

We won’t be having a restful weekend, but it’ll be a FUN one! 😀

  2. So I noticed in the photos that neither of the 2 Brown Dawgs have collars on. Do they not wear collars on vacation? In one of them it looked like (I’m guessing Thunder) was out of the yard.

    Just curious. 🙂

    Have a perfect weekend.

    1. These were all taken in our yard at our cabin. I think you are referring to Storm (think that is her), she is in a small wild area where there are wild blueberries. 🙂

          1. Sometimes they do, but when they are just out to do their business or to romp a bit, not always. (Straight answer right?) It depends on whether we feel like putting them on. If they go off the property then they have a collar with tags. After dark they are on leads at all times.

  3. That’s wonderful! We have wild turkeys who live by us and Finn is in awe of them! Looks like a perfect fall day where you went!

  4. Hey Guys,

We have those Turkey birds living by us too – they just wander the streets, I don’t get let off the lead so I never get close enough to say Hi – shame you didn’t get to say Hi either, maybe next time 🙂

    Have a fun weekend,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

  5. You two are SO beautiful; but that turkey hunting looks exhausting. Rest up! That’s what we’re doing right now!!

  6. They disappeared!? I always heard wild turkeys weren’t to smart! Guess I was wrong! Sorry, but if there’s food I bet they’ll be back! Good luck next time!
    k!

  7. Sorry you couldn’t find those turkeys. Maybe they thought you were going to grab one or two for the holidays so they thought they better move on. Maybe next time you can find them. Hugs and nose kisses

  8. Wow! Are those WILD TURKEYS??!! 😯 I’ve never even seen farm ones! My humans say they make a weird gobble-gobble sound! 🙂

We loved your last post too with all the beautiful autumn colours!

    Slobbers,
    Honey the Great Dane
