Happy Anniversary to Sunday Stills which is three years old this week.  That is a whole lot of photography!  The very first challenge was Pets and so it is again in honor of the anniversary.

You would think that this challenge would be right up may alley.  This is a pet blog after all.  Alas, I have had a crazy week and with having to keep Thunder and Storm separate, I just have not been able to take any new pictures.  Instead I went to my archives from September 2010 for some training pictures.  It was Labor Day weekend and we found a pretty little pond to throw some ducks for them.

  1. I love the pictures, you’ve managed to capture the play of light and shadows on the pond along with the dogs. Great contribution to Sunday Stills.

  2. Great pictures! My humans were sitting a lab for a week, and I was really not happy about it at all because I don’t like others in my house. They had to keep us separated in 2 different rooms all week and it was really hard for them because it meant 2 play times, 2 poop times, 2 petting times, etc. 🙁

  3. We thought of you two the other day. We saw a dead mallard on the edge of our stream and we thought, “Storm and Thunder would run right over and bring that to mom!” We acted like we didn’t see it!! Hunting dogs we’re not!!

  4. These are beautiful pictures! From the refections off the pond to the expressions in Storm and Thunder. I love seeing pictures of them retrieving, I wish we lived in a place where Scarlett could learn to point. I’m from SC and would have a hunting dog if I had it my way! Unfortunately, Miami is not the ideal place and we don’t have the space or time for training. Maybe one day 🙂 🙂

  5. Great shots. I love the water shots and I like it cause I know you guys don’t get bothered when the water is really cold either.

I love swimming in our river now. Most of my friends don’t like it cause it is so cold, but I do and you guys know why.

  8. Such Beautiful photos:)

    Isn’t it great to reminisce?

We are working on our thank you to you for the Liebster Blog Award and our awardees…be watching for that in the next few days!
