We were able to visit the pups again yesterday. Their eyes are open and they are moving around more. They can hear and a couple even barked at us, (with their cute puppy barks), when we came into the room. Smokey is doing great, but seemed a bit more concerned with us being there than she had been the week before. She watched us for a bit and then eventually relaxed and left us to play with he pups. 🙂
The pups still spend a lot of time sleeping. I did not want to use my flash since the pups can see now so some of the pictures are just slightly blurred. (The red marks are nail polish that the breeders used to mark them so they can tell them apart. :))
But it wasn’t long before the pups were up and starting to think of mischief…
This is a Blog Hop. Thanks to Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog, Luna, a Dog’s Life, and My Brown Newfies for setting up this hop. Please go to any of the sponsoring blogs to find out who else has been mischievous.
I took a bunch of puppy pictures so tomorrow will be puppy pictures part 2. 🙂
They are growing so fast! I am so jealous that you get to see them and watch them grow! I can just smell the puppy breath from here!
It is too bad that Sherman’s pups are so far away. Week to week they change so much. 🙂
Let the fun begin….they are just a very short time away from running all about and seeing what all is in their world. They are just adorable and growing so fast! Lots of sweet, warm cuddles there. Hugs and nose kisses
They are already figuring out how to use the rail around the box to climb. 🙂
How do stand it, cute overload!!
Haha, title of today’s post!
Oh, can there be anything cuter than puppies being their puppy selves?! Keep those pics coming! 😀
You got it…more pics.
Looks like they are growing quick too. When you said red nail polish to tell them apart I was looking on their nails. I didn’t see any but then I saw the red dot on their butt. Reminded me of a little cow brand (but way less painful) 🙂
LOL she marks a side, front or back, and the tail and two (boy and girl) are “no mark”. 🙂
Ah,
These guys are gonna be great Mischief Makers, they’re doing so well and they’re so young!! I love the tail biting shot – so sweet!!
Makes me feel like an old Dog when I see the puppy shots!! 🙂
Have fun,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Snoops, you are the biggest puppy we know. 🙂
the 2 brown dawgs
They are so cute. I had wondered what those red marks were (from previous pictures) but thought it was rude to ask (I thought it might be a birthmark.) 🙂
I can see why…should have explained it at first. 🙂
Awww they are so cute! *waggy tail*
They sure are. 🙂
Smokey is such a good and patient momma dog…
She is a good mama.
They are definitely getting bigger and cuter every day.
I think they were over 2 pounds and near 3 when we saw them.
We want some puppies to cuddle!!! AWWWWROOOO!!
Oh and mom says she loves your unfed husband button!! BOL!
AROOOOOF!
Boondocks & The Love Shack Pack
Thanks. The button is so true, I had to grab it from http://shabbyblogs.com/. 🙂
More puppy pics to make me 🙂
Keep ’em coming!
Sure thing! 🙂
This is just cuteness overload! I don’t think there is anything cuter in the world than puppies! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
They are cute and are taking over my blog. 😆
Beautiful shots. Very cute 🙂
Thanks!
It doesn’t get any cuter. I wish they could stay that small for longer. Dogs grow up far too fast!
They do grow up so fast. I am excited to see them when they can really get around.
I Love that age, they are so cute 🙂
They sure are. If they were in my house, I would never get anything done.
The mischief has just beginning. Looking forward to it unfolding.
Blessings,
Goose
Thanks Goose.
How adorable! They are so cute! The pictures make you want to hold one or maybe one at a time! They have the ruffle-est fur! I bet it’s very soft!
It is not as soft as it looks. I would say more coarse, but not really. It is hard to describe Chessie puppy fur. 😆
Awwwwwww I just love puppies. Thanks for posting smokies puppies.
You are welcome. 🙂
oh…photos as fun a Christmas morning! So cute…so adorable….just wanna squeeze ’em and kiss ’em.
how will you ever pick just one????
I think it is going to be hard to pick “the one”. They are all great pups really.
How cute!!! They just keep getting more adorable 🙂
