Training can bring on the mischief.  Usually Storm is pretty solid with her holds, but on this particular day, she got very creative trying to hold the cold bumpers.

Storm Shopping For A Bumper

These Bumpers Are Cold So I Will Hold It By The Rope

Oops That Rope Is Slippery

I Got It Now

This Big Fat Bumper Is Hard To Hold By The Rope

Oops

I'll Hold It By The End Instead Of The Rope

But it wasn’t only holding the bumpers that brought on the mischief.  Once Storm got the bumpers back, I guess she felt that since she had warmed them up, she wasn’t going to release them easily.

  1. I don’t blame you…if I had that much trouble holding on too it to begin with, I would not let go if it either! HA!

  2. Ha-Ha! Storm is one smart pup! I wouldn’t let it go again either after all that work to get it warm!

  3. Definitely mischief! I know she is better behaved than Delilah, but I can’t help thinking they are cut from similar cloth. 🙂

I could see how a cold bumper would be challenging to hold in your mouth, I wonder if they know about opposable thumbs and what they are missing?

    1. If she would just hold it like every other lab out there, it would be much easier…but they are Chessies and sometimes have their own ideas. 😆

Delilah and Storm are a lot alike…

  4. Can’t blame Storm for not wanting to let go of those bumpers. After all she is did all the work warming them up! LOL!
