Freighter is really doing well. Last night he had a good night, only waking us up when he had to go potty. He had a big first weekend and got out to explore the yard a bit yesterday. We put Storm’s old collar on him. OK so it is pink. I bought him a new collar and tag yesterday. 🙂 We also put a lead on him to let him get used to dragging it around the yard. Eventually we will put a check cord on him.

Well it looks like freighter is quite comfortable in his surroundings. I laughed at the “I’m going to run” picture as it looks like he has no tail! LOL! Ahhh! Puppy breath!

I saw this on the reader… and said to myself “I hope that’s not a pink collar, and is just a faded orange one” lol pretty funny that it was. Gotta use what you got, I imagine he will outgrow several before you can pick a final size for him. Looks like he is not bothered by the snow at all, wyatt wasn’t either.

Major props to you guys for house training in the winter! When we were first discussing our second dog and a puppy was on the table, we were going to try to plan a spring adoption so we could potty train in warm weather 🙂 We just happened to luck out with Moses’ summer timing… oh the things you think of the second time around. Or third, in this case.
