  1. I love these two comparative photos, there’s something very moving about them. I’ve always been touched by multi-generational photos. And congrats on your article! 🙂

  2. Well, I don’t know why but those pictures of Freighter and his Grandfather made me tear up! They speak tons! Congratulations on being a guest blogger in Retriever Life!! How exciting! I’m off to check it out right now!

  3. Gorgeous photos! You could almost mistake Thunder’s photo for one of Freighter!

Also, a big congratulations on the guest blogging spot!

  4. Congratulations on your guest post! I can’t wait to read it. 🙂

  5. Oh! Look at that! Love it!!! I have been going through some of the puppy pictures from Sherman’s litter and comparing features. I found one pup that is a ringer!
    Nice job on your article!

  6. Hi Y’all,

Love the way they are sitting and paying attention to y’all. Both in the same direction. If Freighter sees that boat…;)

    Y’all come back now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

  7. I love the pictures of grandfather and grandson! And congratulations on your guest post! What an honor and a lovely article.

You mentioned before that you write for a living, care to share what you do?

    1. I write boring business related correspondence and documents. Very formal. But even for the guest blog post I had trouble because it wasn’t for me. I could write on any topic, but still it took me a while. When I have to write for others, it just isn’t as much fun. That is what I meant. 🙂

  8. Congratulations on being a guest blogger! I wasn’t aware of Retriever Life but checked it out and like it. Hope to see more guest posts in the future.

  9. How sweet! Love the pictures. Congrats on your piece in the magazine. I will be sure to check it out.

  10. Great pictures. Freighter’s eyes look more blue. I assume they will change to golden? (don’t all chessies have golden eyes?)
