These pictures are from a couple of weeks ago.  It was a cold rainy day and neither dog did particularly well.  I did not take a lot of pictures due to the weather, but these are of Storm who did a nice job on this mark, but had trouble with the memory mark.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. Boy it was wet! I love the way Storm is looking up in that one picture. It looks like she’s having a conversation about what went on!

  2. I love watching the dogs run in the rain. I love the way they kick up all the water in the grass. Great set of pictures!!

  3. Ok, at the risk of looking like a silly pup – I have 2 questions…..

Are they Giant Ducks/Geese? And are some of them real and some pretend?

    Have a fun day guys,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

    1. It’s not a stupid question. They are all goose decoys, just different styles. You see at hunt tests they put out decoys and you never know what style they will be, but the dogs should run right by them. Many times people forget to train with decoys and when young dogs get to the test, they can be distracted by them. If they have trained with decoys in the area, then they are less likely to bother about them. As a dog gains experience, it will learn to trust its eyes and not get tricked by the decoys.

  4. Maybe they didn’t do as well as they could have but they look great to me! Training in the rain is no fun. This is one of the reasons I am glad agility can be performed indoors!

  5. My dogs can’t stand the rain, but offer them a walk or something fun to do and they are all over it. As long as they are having fun!

  6. Mine love the rain.

LOL it looks cold! Storm you are my hero.

    – thanks for all the love in regards to Fred. <3

  7. I know you said they didn’t really do so well, but storm looks like a pro in these pictures! ALSO, the rain makes it seem so much fun. Here is to wishing great weather to y’all in the coming weeks.

  8. Rain or shine, I can tell you had a great time!!
