Freighter is 7 months old today. We took him with us to a party last weekend for a bit of socializing and he was a good boy. He seemed to love the attention from everyone and was really good on the leash. I will miss him when he goes off to stay with the trainer on Saturday.

I wish I could say that I have been behind visiting your blogs because we have been out training. The truth is that it has been way to hot to train after work. The dogs have been stuck in the house and are getting a bit stir crazy. They need more exercise than doing some obedience in the basement can offer.
Actually, I have been busy with morning appointments (which cut into my blog reading time), and with setting up my new iPhone. I just had a moment to try a couple of pictures and a couple of photo apps. It will take a bit to get used to, but I think I am going to like it. 🙂
Finally, I got the biopsy results back on Nestle and the growth was a benign cyst. Yay! She just needs to go back to the vet early next week to have the stitches removed. Hopefully that will be the last we see of the vet until it is time for annual exams. 🙂

Thanks for stoppin’ to visit me! My Humans used to have a Flat Coat before they got into Chessies. My Human says Lavern’s head is wrong, but now that you mention it, the coat does look more Flat Coat if a little short. A black Lab and Flat Coat would guarantee a black dog.
Now, Freighter, seems like you just came to live with Thunder and Storm. How’d you get to be 7 months old so fast?
Your human says that your sit is a “puppy sit”. I call it a “relaxed sit”. Unless I’m doing obedience, I sit like you do, especially if there is something to lean against. BOL Silly humans…same as them slouching in their easy chair, don’t you think?

Good news with Nestle and happy seven months to your baby! Times goes by so fast!
Happy Birthday Freighter!! It looks like he had fun at the party! You have mentioned to me that Chessies don’t normally demand/like a lot of attention. Does that hold true with Freighter or are you finding he has a different temperment?
Glad to hear the good news about Nestle, that must have been a great relief to you.
I have a Droid and I’m sure it does far more than I know. LOL my next phone will be an iphone. Hubby picked the Droid and I went along with it. Unless I get an ipad, in that case I will just get a little phone that calls and texts. 🙂
Chessies are like other puppies and like attention. It is as they get older that they are more independent. Freighter is just starting to be more independent.

Great News on Nestle! Whew!
Freighter is almost all grown up! How did that happen? I still have to post about his gift to me…I had that blogging lapse over the winter and into the spring due to L.I.F.E. *sigh*
Send some of that heat our way…we haven’t had much summer yet!
Freighter stil loves the bone Scrappy sent. It is the only one we allow always in his crate.

He’s exactly the same age than Doggy. The WordPress app for iPhone it’s pretty cool, I’m actually using to write this comment, big thumbs makes it a little hard to type and the autocorrector plays tricks on you but it comes handy when you are waiting in line. Posting from iPhone kinda sucks, hard editing but pics come out really nice.

Freighter is looking so grown up and I agree it doesn’t seem like its been that long. I would have a very hard time parting with a puppy at 7 months, but Freighter looks like he learns pretty quickly. YAY! Great news on Nestle! Good luck Freighter! It has been horrible hot, but today is just beautiful! The collies went stir crazy also…. when they came in they lined up in front of the air conditioner and took naps enjoying that cold air… 🙂
