No real mischief on vacation this year because it was too darn hot. Friday the temperature was 97 degrees Fahrenheit. That is 36 Celsius according to the converter. While not a record, it is quite a bit above the normal. In addition to the heat the deer flies were out in force so we kept inside mostly. That’s the way to handle a hot day! I love the contrast between your winter posts and your summer posts – it looked so flipping cold in winter and now you’re all roasting!
The dawgs and Nestle have the right idea – sometimes there’s nothing better to do in extreme heat than relax. Our high last week was 102 with a heat index of 107….naturally I had a lot of running to do that day – it took so long for me to cool off after getting home into air conditioning! Felt like that heat had penetrated my bones!

It was 47 C here with the humidex, so we also had to spend our time indoors. Storm and Thunder definitely had the right idea!
We weren’t on vacation but there was a LOT of that going on this past week. LOL Our walks were short and our naps were long.

That’s a little too hot for me too. The weather has been mild out here, but my boys hang around the house and sleep most of the day too. I think I need to get them a little more activity. Maybe a visit to the beach is in order.
