Freighter Photo Shoot

Freighter turned 9 months on Tuesday.  I wanted to try to get some posed pictures while we were visiting with him last Saturday.

He is a crazy busy puppy.  Getting him to slow down for pictures is not easy.

Hold Still Freighter

We decided to put off photo taking until after we spent some time training him.

So We Threw Some Marks

And We Ran Him Around

He Even Kicked Up Dust

Then We Threw Some Water Marks

He Made Big Splashes

And Did Some Swimming

And Some Shaking

Finally it was time for pictures.

Questioning

We really like his size and are hoping he doesn’t grow too much taller.  Right now I think he is just a tad taller than Storm.  Of course he still has growing to do and filling out, but I doubt he will be a big dog.  But don’t let his size fool you.  He is a very strong dog.

We have Thunder entered in a Master test tomorrow.  It could be a big dog test so we aren’t sure how he will handle it.  We rested him a lot this week and worked on his obedience.  We will see…

Have a nice weekend!

  1. Freighter sure is growing up but you can still see the puppy in his eyes. Love these pictures especially the head tilt and the smile. Good luck with Thunder this weekend. :)

  2. Hey Freighter, Jet here. Hi Miss Linda.

Mom asked me to share that he’s one handsome, manly man! Good idea getting his energy out! We love the splash picture and the questioning pictures!!!

  3. Freighter is growing to a very handsome boy! I can’t remember if you mentioned this or not, will he eventually compete in conformation?
Good luck this weekend with Thunder!

  4. Those are beautiful pictures. Somehow I can never seem to get a nice shot of Delilah.

Good luck to you guys tomorrow, I hope you have nice weather for it.

  5. I love you can even see the sparkle in his eyes! nice pictures. The very best of luck to Jim and Thunder!! You can do it. settle down and think Thunder it’s no different than at Darrin’s.

  6. Hi Y’all!

They are so active at that age! Whoopee. Candy was 9 months when we adopted her.

Hawk is 6 yrs 5 mo. He still has wild moments, but they don’t last as long.

Love how focused Freighter is on his marks.

    Y’all come by now,
    BrownDog’s Human

  7. So cute! It’s funny – while he’s working/training, he looks so mature and grown up! But then once paused for the photos, he’s still an adorable, inquisitive puppy.
