This ‘N That Thursday is for those times when you want to post about unrelated topics or each topic isn’t quite long enough to make up a whole post. It can be anything you want, so feel free to grab the button and join us!
Here we are in November already. This blog has been nominated for several blogging awards going all the way back to September. I am far behind at acknowledging them so I thought I would just do one big post before Christmas is upon us.
Just Toby gave us 2 (?) awards. One Lovely Blog and the
Beautiful Devious Clever Genius Blogger Award.
Thank you so much for these two great awards. I would say stop by and visit Toby, but apparently you are going to have to wait until December because Toby’s human will be busy participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) during the month of November. NaNoWriMo encourages writing an entire novel in a month or something crazy-challenging like that. Good luck to Toby’s human. Once December rolls around stop over and see how she made out.
Our Chessie pal Hawk nominated us for the Fabulous Blog Ribbon Award and another One Lovely Blog Award.
Thank you Hawk for these beautiful awards. If you don’t know Hawk, stop by and say “hi”. He shares great adventures either at the shore or in the mountains and sometimes in between. Oh and he is a brown dawg too.
The Elka Almanac also awarded us the One Lovely Blog Award.
Thank you so much for this great award. If you haven’t met Elka, you should stop by and meet this wonderful Dobe. Elka’s person also shares a lot of helpful tips.
Sand Spring Chesapeakes received The Reader Appreciation award, One Lovely Blog Award, The Addictive Blog Award and Wonderful Team Member Readership Award and passed them on to us.
Thank you so much Sand Spring Chesapeakes. If you haven’t visited them, you should stop over and meet this pack of brown dawgs. The youngest Chessie, Glory, is just a bit younger than Freighter. These brown dawgs do it all, including hunting and hunt tests.
Finally, Everyday Adventures In Havachon Heaven nominated us for the really cute award Super Sweet Award. Thank you so much Daisy.
If you don’t know Daisy, stop over to meet her. She may be small, but she sure gets into some good mischief.
Here are the rules for this award:
- Give credit to the person who chose to nominate you.
- Answer the “Super Sweet” questions.
- Nominate a “Baker’s Dozen (13) blogs.
In honor of Halloween, a holiday devoted to candy, the brown dawgs will try to follow one of the rules for this award and answer the Super Sweet Questions.
Super Sweet Questions:
1. Cookies or Cake?
2. Chocolate or Vanilla?
Vanilla because chocolate is bad for us.
3. What is your favorite sweet treat?
We like apple flavored dog cookies, or blueberry, or pomegranate.
4. When do you crave sweets the most?
5. If you had a sweet nickname, what would it be?
The humans call us all kinds of names, but we aren’t sure any are sweet!
Thank you again for including us in these awards.
