First, the brown dawgs would like to send out healing wishes to their trainer Darrin who has been ill.  Please get well soon Darrin.  The brown dawgs need you.  🙂

This mischief is from the week before last.

Thunder was not happy when he got the news that he had to wear his cast an extra week.  It meant that he also had to wear the cone of shame for an extra week.

He decided to kill the cone.

He succeeded.

Dead Cone Of Shame

Silly Thunder.  There are more cones where that one came from.

Another Cone?

Since his cast came off last Thursday, Thunder has not been bothering his leg too much so he hasn’t had to wear the cone.  I guess we can put it back on the shelf.  🙂

This is a Blog Hop.  Thanks to  Alfie’s BlogSnoopy’s Dog Blog, Luna, a Dog’s Life, and My Brown Newfies for setting up this hop.  Please go to any of the sponsoring blogs to find out who else has been mischievous.

Monday Mischief

  1. That cone had it coming! […that cone has been responsible for quite a few linear bruises on our legs!]
I’m glad Thunder doesn’t need it anymore and that his leg is doing well!

  2. Good for you Thunder! I don’t blame you for killing that cone! When Sampson was neutered he had the cone, he has such a big neck that that use a large cone, but he was still a small puppy. He walked out of the vet’s office and into a wall. He couldn’t turn around in his crate with it. I felt so bad for him that I slept on the couch with him so I would know if he was picking at his stitches and in that way he didn’t need the cone. AND when we were done with the cone? Yes, I gave it to him to destroy. 🙂

  5. Woof! Woof! Hooray to the CONE. Happy MM. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  6. All cones have it coming…so I am told. I have never had to wear one. With the injuries surgery’s over the 12 years I have never bothered my boo boo’s. BUT if I did have to I am sure I would want to destroy the cone. Keep healing up Thunder.
    Blessings,
    Goose

  7. Ooooo. The cone. Not a fun thing for poor Thunder. I’m thinking of getting a cone for my husband …

  8. Oh Thunder,

It sounded like such a good plan until your Mum produced another one, right?! You were foiled!! Doh!! Sorry buddy, but great effort!!

    Wags to all

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

  9. I actually think Thunder looks very handsome in the cone. Maybe he would like it better if he knew that 🙂

  10. Lexie days Those cones are deadly! They didn’t have clear when I had to wear one and I kept bumping into things. Had a hard time getting it so I could see, yah for the dead one. Mica and I never touch our stitches or sores so we don’t have to wear it. Hope your leg keeps getting better so you can get back to some fun 🙂

  11. Wow … he did some pawsome work killing that cone of shame … even with a bad leg! I’m impressed! *wag wag wag* Not just a pretty face eh!

  12. Yay! No more cone! Thunder sure did a good job killing that one cone. He kind of looks like a dog satellite dish in that second pic! LOL!
