Catching Up
Storm came home on Sunday. I guess she missed sleeping on her favorite blanket. She is making up for that now.
The Joys Of A Teenager
Freighter is 15 months old today and looking more and more like a grown up dog, but acting like a teenager. He is going back to the trainer on Saturday to continue his field training. It will be good for him because he needs work on his handling and he needs more exercise than we can give him right now. A walk is just not enough to tire him out any more. A tired Freighter is a less bratty Freighter. 🙂
I Won!
A few weeks ago Murphy’s Bird Dog Blog had a give away for a book titled Gifts Of The Crow: How Perception, Emotion and Thought Allow Smart Birds To Behave Like Humans. Lucky me because I won a copy of the book! I look forward to cracking it open.
Thank you Murphy’s Bird Dog Blog for the great give away.
That sounds like a great read. Well done on winning it. Have a terrific Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
So does Storm being home mean no puppies? Maybe mom needs a Freighter…she has tried several of us high energy breeds but she wears us all out! She needs a super high energy breed to keep up with her I think!
We won’t know if there are puppies for a few weeks. 🙂
If we could get out everyday and train, Freighter would be fine. But the days are too short for that and the weather limits what we can do. There has been a lot of snow and ice this winter and we cannot train in that and we don’t let the dogs run a lot in that either.
Welcome home Storm! I’m sure she’s having a much-deserved rest on her favorite blanket. 🙂 I’m sure Freighter will come back with even more skills, he’s one smart pup. And congrats on your book win!
congrats on the book! Looks like a good one 🙂
Bet Storm is glad to be home and that picture of Freighter is awesome! He is one handsome dude!
Sweet little Storm, looks like she missed her blankie. Congrats on winning the book–hope you will do a review. Freighter is looking mighty grown up–handsome boy!!
Ah I remember the teenager days. So frustrating. I am beginning to think that Delilah might be in her ‘mid-life crisis’ phase, is that even possible? LOL Take heart, the warmer days are coming and you will soon have the tired pup that makes everyone happy. 🙂
Woof! Woof! Happy 15 months to Freighter. LOVE his photo. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Oh, Freighter, I am a teenager too; it’s tough being an adolescent pup! I hope you have lots of fun with your trainer and come home ready for a nice long nap 🙂
Teenage dogs are as bad as teenage children. They remember the rules, but don’t like to follow them.
I just got through the teenage years. Now a am a young adult and I remember the rules better.
I understand teenagers completely. with my 2i go for a 2mile jog and they arn’t even panting. storm looks so comfy and glad to be home. congrats on the give away.
Aw, glad Storm’s blanket was there for her when she came home ^^
It must be nice to have Storm home…she looks content on her blankie. Congrats on winning the book!
Hi Y’all!
I was 14 months when I came to live with my Humans. My Human says I haven’t slowed down much and I’ll be 7 the 24th of March.
Dear sweet Storm looks worn out. Bet she’s super happy to be home in her own bed!
Y’all come back now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Glad Storm is back home and hopefully pregnant. At 15 mths. I’m sure Freighter needs a lot of activity. Training and getting mind and body working everyday will be good for him and Storm will get a little rest time:-)
Congratulations on winning the book and I hope you enjoy it – I sure did.
