I decided to try a photo shoot with Thunder and Storm for Easter.  I waited and waited for a nice sunny day which never came in time to do the shoot.  I finally gave up and decided to do it with the light I could find inside of the house.

If you have been following this blog, you know that brown dawgs are not keen on photo shoots.  They have no patience.  They get bored.  They always look pained.  It doesn’t matter if it is of some ribbons they’ve earned, or for an upcoming holiday, they hate sitting for photos.

I decided to torture them anyway.  (Don’t worry there were treats involved.)

  4. These are, hands down, some of my all-time favorite dog photos!! Definitely laughing WITH you. My dogs are in some kind of witness protection program. They hate the camera! (Well, so far the puppy doesn’t mind too much, but it is hard to keep her wiggly butt still for a good photo.) Brilliant blog post 😀

  6. I love the photo shoot. Great outtakes. My older chessies are the same way. Thanks for the blog hop and linky tool. should i be using that when I do blog hop posts?

    1. Yes you can add the linky tools to your post. It used to be that this tool did not work for free wordpress, (we can’t run scripts), but they have changed the tool to provide a code that takes you to a different page and works for wordpress. On wordpress we are really just adding a link to a new page (if that makes sense).

      To add the code to your blog, go to the page that pops up and find the part that says, “get the code”. Then copy the one that is for wordpress accounts and paste it into the text version of your post. Use the tap at the top right of your post box to change from “visual” to “text”. I hope this helps.

  7. They remind me of trying to take a photo of my sister…in 99% of the photos she either looks abused, in pain or mad…she doesn’t like to look happily at the camera like I do. I guess your pups prefer action shots out in the field which is perfectly fine 🙂

  9. Sounds like I had the opposite experience as yours! My Newfies usually love photoshoots, but they wanted absolutely nothing to do with the bunny ears this time around. Our “outtakes” didn’t turn out nearly as cute as yours!

  14. I think the pictures are awesome! Very rarely can I get two of my dogs in a picture together and forget about getting all three of them together! I think you did a great job and the pictures are beautiful 🙂

  26. Haha, in the second picture it is like Storm is saying “really we go from being amazing adventure dogs running the feilds…. to posing with bunnies!”. hahaha I don’t know if they liked it, but I certainly did, so cute!

  29. What great pictures and hilarious expressions!! Sometimes those are better pictures than the excited, happy ones. We didn’t even think of pictures. We went to church, ate out with our son and gave the dogs their Easter treats. Since it was cold and cloudy we all took a nap 🙂
