Yesterday a black squirrel was making a fine meal of some sunflower seeds.
He seemed to be taunting the dogs.
And all Thunder could do was watch.
Finally, Thunder got his chance and sent the squirrel packing.

Yes up at the cabin. I haven’t seen many black ones there either so this guy stood out.

Nice work there Thunder! My parents have a black squirrel hanging around their yard this year, It’s the first time I ever saw one!
How cool! We have brown squirrels which we call squirrels and then occasionally we see a white squirrel which we have named Katie squirrels after my all white sister, but no black ones. I want a black one, they look beautiful…can you send me one of those? I bet they are just as fun and frustrating as the squirrels we have!
Second thought, can you send a pair, male and female, so we can make more over here in MN?

Dottie is the squirrel stalking queen around here but we don’t have black squirrels… I wonder what she’d think of that!
Those black squirrels always startle me. “What is that?!” “Oh, just a squirrel.” We don’t see many of them here, but there are a few. This is the first place we’ve lived where I’ve seen them.

Squirrels are rats with long, furry tails. They may be evil but they are so cute.
Good job Thunder, we call them tree rats but we don’t have any black ones around here, they are all gray. Once we had one make a home in our attic, that was scary. I wish you’d been around to chase him off, it would have saved us a lot of time and aggravation. 🙂
Believe it or not I’ve never seen a black squirrel…didn’t even know there were any…Our gray squirrels love to taunt Gizmo but he sends them packing just as quick as Thunder

I’ve never seen a black squirrel before, but I see they like to tease dogs just like our boring grey squirrels. Our squirrels like to walk right up to our patio doors and stare at me. The nerve!

Our squirrels are brown. We’ve never seen a black squirrel! They are kind of cool looking. They would be easier to see and better to chase!
