We had a couple of sweltering days with temperatures into the mid 90’s. Of course that came to an end when some strong storms blew through. Not only did the power go off for a short time, but the internet was troublesome. Hopefully I get this post finished before anything else goes out. 🙂
Freighter spent last Sunday morning doing this:
Then he spent a bit of time in the afternoon working on his show dog stuff. We have him entered in a show this weekend. He hasn’t been in the ring since January so we figured he better get some practice. The show is outside so we used the backyard as “the ring”.

Great stand. Ruby is very stable too and does great stands on her own for several minutes:)

Go freighter. Good luck at the show. He should do very well from the pictures he looks very well and well behaved. I practiced not pacing with glory. We have shows the next two weekends.

He looks ready to show to me! That swimming looks great as always too. How come the blog hoppers are not showing up on the main page, did you want it that way? I figured it out, but I just wanted to make sure you knew it was that way.

Freighter has only been in two shows and he has one point so he needs 14 more including both majors. 🙂
What beauty 🙂 Do all of yours eat grass? Mine rarely do, which seems odd.
How did Freighter do in the show? All of my dogs I have ever had, including my inside dog has always eaten grass. I heard it was a nutrient, like a salad for the dogs, makes sense to me anyway. I eat salads, so I guess they can do that.
Freighter’s action shots are starting to look more and more “adult”! Good luck in the show!

Freighter makes quite the splash! I didn’t know he was a show dog too…..good luck to him, and can’t wait to hear how he does. He looks like a winner to me!

I think there are 6 class dogs entered. Hope he has the patience to stand there because I think most of them will be in his class.
