At training this past Saturday there were a couple younger dogs and a couple of puppies who were trying out the water for the first time.  After they were finished, there were a lot of extra bumpers floating in the pond.  Before we could go onto the next set-up, the extra bumpers had to be picked up.

Call in the clean up crew a/k/a dogs that know how to handle in water.

Freighter, Thunder, and a few of the other dogs took turns picking up the extra bumpers.

I am not a fan of cleaning, but I guess the brown dawgs don’t mind so much.

I will be away from the blog for a a few days because we are attending a training seminar with Bill Hillmann.  Long time readers may remember that we used Bill Hillmann’s Training A Retriever Puppy dvd to help us train Freighter when he was very young.  I wrote about it here.  Hubby and I are really looking forward to the seminar.

We are taking Freighter with us.  Thunder will be staying behind with his breeder and we left Storm with our trainer for a couple of weeks rather than board her.

It has taken a lot of organization to get ready to travel to this seminar, but I am sure it will be worth it.  The best part is that I will be meeting a fellow blogger.  I am super-duper excited that I will be meeting JoAnn and the Sand Spring gang!

This is the Thursday Bark And Bytes Blog Hop hosted by 2 Brown Dawgs and Heart Like A Dog.

Thanks to all the bloggers who join up each week.  The Barks And Bytes hop is for anything at all and all bloggers are welcome.  You don’t have to be a dog blog to join.  Why not join us!

If you have any questions or problems with the hop this week, please let Jodi at Heart Like A Dog know.
