A few weeks ago Freighter and I started taking a morning walk together. Of course he had about a week off due to his nail injury, but on Monday we started back at it. (More on our walks tomorrow.)
We have been enjoying our neighbor’s pretty peony bush. Unfortunately we had some rain which will probably mean the end of the flowers. I made sure to take my little camera with me yesterday to snap a couple of pictures. I just love peonies.
Last week I shared a picture of Storm’s mom. Here is a picture of one of Storm and Foreman’s puppies named Brady. Thanks to Brady’s people for sharing this picture.
If his breeders didn’t tell me, I think I would have picked Brady as a Storm puppy just from his expression. It looks so much like Storm’s. What do you think?
Thanks so much for all of the kind comments about the passing of my Dad’s kitty Suzie. Nestle inherited Suzie’s bed and has taken to it right away.

I like those flowers if they are in someone else’s yard. They collect too many ants. You took some beautiful pics of them. Nestlé looks like she really enjoys her new bed. Brady is handsome. Storm makes pretty puppies.

Do all peonies smell as amazing as they look? I’ve never experienced them up close until the last year or so. Gorgeous flowers. And to be honest, I have a tough time telling the Chessies apart. 🙁 They’re all beautiful, but they’re all brown.

My Human used to have peonies in her garden when they lived on the Chesapeake Bay. Generally they do not do well in the south because you don’t get enough cold weather in the south, even as far north as North Carolina. Those are beautiful!

Oh my goodness, yes, I almost couldn’t tell Brady and Storm apart….they do have almost the exact same expression! It must be so much fun to see the offspring of your own dogs.

This past weekend I took my little camera with me and because it goes underwater and I was near a pool, I plunged it in and snapped a photo. 😉
