Many people bake cookies for Christmas.  Storm did not want to be left out so she helped me make some Christmas cookies for our gang.  She made sure to wear her Christmas apron to keep her fur neat.

We used a Three Dog Bakery mix to make gingerbread flavored biscuits.

It was a complete mix so you just add water.  This made it convenient because we were at the cabin and I don’t have a lot of baking equipment or ingredients there.

These are a rolled cookie so we got out the rolling-pin.  I was pretty impressed that I had a rolling-pin at the cabin.

There was a cute bone shaped cookie cutter included in the package so we used it to cut out the cookies.

Then we popped them into the oven of our 1972 Kenmore range.  (No kidding it is really from 1972.  They don’t make them like they used to).

The brown dawgs certainly enjoyed these biscuits.  Unfortunately they ate them all and saved none for Santa.

Do you think Santa will hold it against them?

  1. Gingerbread sounds good. We always bake from scratch except for once a year we make chicken flavored cookies because a mini human in the neighborhood sells it as a mix for school every year.

  2. no wonder that you eat all that cookies. this baking mixes are great and Storm is a super Chef. Maybe you can place a cigar and a glass of brandy for Santa, think he could need it :o)

  3. Great job with the cookies they looked delicious. But I don’t know if Santa is going to be happy you didn’t leave any for him! Let’s hope he stops to leave presents??

  4. I think Santa will cut you some slack this time. You all are far too cute for him to hold it against you!

  5. That’s the perfect pre-Christmas activity….baking cookies with Mom, especially at the cozy cabin!

  6. Is that mix specially for dogs? Wish we have something like that here for noobs like me 😛 but then again I need to get an oven first!
