Freighter
Freighter

When we train blind retrieves with multiple dogs, we usually set a pile of bumpers out in the field so that we don’t have to take the time to set one out for each dog.  It is one bumper per customer, but I guess Freighter felt like he should bring back as many as he could fit into his mouth.

He is such a helpful pup.

  1. Brought a smile to my face, Rusty (an old red rescue Golden) was tennis ball king, count 5! Cullen was the bumper “hog”, two and sometimes one hanging, do not let that Macha “git” any! Not certain how they managed but they has it down to a science.
    Freighter is such a hoot!
    Sun again :~)

  2. Haha!!! Hilarious!!! The more the merrier; saved several more trips out to find the remaining bumpers!!!

  3. Cute! My sis and I used to be the same way when we lived in an apartment and it was a long way from the parking garage to our apt. – “never make two trips!” 🙂

  4. That is so cute. It reminds me of the pictures you see of a dog with two or three balls in his mouth. 🙂

  5. Norman was always so helpful in this manner too. I loved that he did that but his trainer hated it and tried and tried to break him of it and he couldn’t he ended up running him last every time.

    1. Darrin uses the large bumpers so mo chance to fit more than one in. I think it is the dog’s way of having some fun.
