At the hunt test last Saturday they were looking for a test dog to run the water blind.  The dog that was supposed to be test dog was a young dog and could not do the blind.

The judges really wanted the handlers to see where the blind was so…

Storm To The Rescue!
Storm To The Rescue!

It seemed no one had an extra dog capable of running the blind.  You cannot use a dog who is still in the test so Storm it was.

Storm was all for it.

      1. Hopefully not too big! 🙂 I was having issues with the photos loading in the other theme. I hope the developer can fix the issue but in the mean time I found a theme that works.

  1. Nice job Storm, I’m betting she was more than happy to do it! Did they put the ribbon on the trees so the handler could readily identify it?

    1. Yes it is for the handlers to know where they put the duck. Sometimes they use a post and sometimes a ribbon.

  2. It’s always exciting for the older dogs to get a chance to do the job without all the pressure. I sometimes had an extra Saluki that would run in a field trial to test the lure. It makes them so happy. Good girl, Storm!

    1. She thought she would get to do it the next day but they did not need her. She was a real nag about it too.
