We finally got some cooler weather and were able to shut off the air and open the windows.  Whenever we have our patio door open, it becomes one of the most popular spots in the house.

On this particular day, Nestle the cat claimed her spot in front of the open door.  She likes to watch the birds and she likes to lay in the sun puddle.  The only problem for Nestle is Freighter also wanted the same spot.

So a stand off.

  1. Aw, poor Freighter. He looks so bummed-out that Nestle wouldn’t share the best spot in the house.

  2. Hi Y’all!

BOL! Now I know why I told my Human NO CATS! Oh, sorry, that was Papa’s doctor said “no cats”. Severe allergy to cat dander. (long story)

    Y’all come on by,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

  3. Such a fencing match! What is it about cats? Miniature panther? Law of the jungle?

  4. That was probably a wise choice, Freighter. Around here, no one messes with the cat (well, Luke pushes it occasionally, but he’s learning).

  5. I’m glad I’m not the only dog with this issue and I also have to give up. My cat bro Bert actually beats me in the face to keep a spot!

  6. Oh my goodness, I was a little worried there for a minute. How do dogs forget that kitty’s have claws? LOL Good choice Freighter.
