Thankful for…

This Thanksgiving the brown dawgs wanted to share three things for which they are thankful.  They also wanted to share their idea of the perfect Thanksgiving menu.

Thunder is the oldest so he is up first.  As you can see he has a one track mind.  Thunder’s list was one item ducks, ducks, ducks.  I guess he had a good waterfowl season.

Thunder’s perfect menu would be:

  • First Course Grilled Woodcock
  • Main Course Baked Duck
  • Dessert Apple Cake

Sounds good Thunder.

Storm was up next.  Leave it to Storm to think big.  Storm’s list is Birds, Kongs, Squirrels.

As for her perfect menu, Storm got creative.

  • First Course Pheasant Spread
  • Main Course Sautéed Grouse
  • Dessert Bananas

I guess Storm needs a lighter dessert after such a big meal.  🙂

Last but not least, Freighter.  Freighter wanted to make sure all his favorite birds were included in his “thankful” list.  Freighter is thankful for Ducks, Pheasant, Grouse.  I think I am spotting a trend with the boy dogs.

  • First Course Duck Tidbits
  • Main Course Grilled Salmon
  • Dessert Blueberries

Freighter’s menu is not too exotic.  He is a plain food kind of guy.

  11. Sounds like some good meal choices! Did you see the National Dog Show today – there was a yellow Chessie – at least he looked yellow – never seen that, I thought Chessie’s had to be brown?

  13. I’m thankful that hubby has stopped complaining every time I use either the laptop, iPad, or iPhone! Of course, it could have something to do with my countering that he’s addicted to the television, which is on at least 12 hours a day every day that we aren’t shopping or dining out. 🙂

    But I’m thankful for all of my many blessings, including our pet lover blogging community! All of you are like an extended family; and I appreciate all the support and love – especially when we had to let Callie go to Heaven – more than I could ever put into words.
