Christmas Day finally arrived and the brown dawgs were delighted that Santa had paid them a visit and left them more than a lump of coal in their stockings. In fact he left them quite a stash.
Inspecting The Stash That Santa Left
Santa brought each of our senior dogs a new memory foam bed.
After trying the beds out, Thunder and Storm got a chance to inspect the stash.
After looking over the ball and cat stuff, Storm zeroed in on the treats.
Thunder was confused as to why there were so many cat items.
Freighter got his turn too.
Last but not least Nestle got a turn.
Nestle says that clearly she was at the top of the “Nice List” since her share of the stash is the largest.
What did Santa bring you?
Nestle, it sounds like you got lots of great stuff. Good for you. But we want the doggies to get lots of goodies too. Those beds look mighty comfy. Glad all of you had a good Christmas. We would also like to wish you all a Happy New Year.
That is a terrible thing that the cat got so much stuff! Our cat bro Bert is always on the naughty list, so he doesn’t get much. Hope you seniors like your new beds. Katie will not lie on a bed no matter what, which is a bummer since it would help her feel better we think. Enjoy all your gifts!

Wow! They made out good this Christmas! I hope Sherman and Leroy don’t see this because they didn’t get that much! Lol! I was looking for the gingerbread Buddy Biscuits this year and couldn’t find them at any of the pet stores!
Thunder’s caption is absolutely perfect! How dare the cat get more than the 2 Brown Dawgs?!?! What was Santa thinking? Those beds are very nice though and Nestle didn’t get one so neener, neener! BOL!

So much awesome stuff! Those beds look very nice and comfy. We like that Nestle made out so well too…our Sam doesn’t usually get as much, since she doesn’t really like toys and she’s so fussy about treats!

Looks like The Brown Dawgs got nice gifts, too!
Shadow and Ducky both got new collars and new tag holders that I found at Up Country [dot] com, Shadow got a new leash and new balls for her Chuck it! toy. Ducky got a new red Kong Wubba and a new Nylabone. And for both of them to share, a new pillow for the living room to replace the bed that Callie got sick on the weekend after her second chemo treatment. Shadow prefers her old bed that I bought for her when she was still a puppy so she and Callie would always have matching beds. Ducky likes the new bed.
Santa must have believed the Chessies were the very best! For a black cat Nestle did quite well!
