Its New Year’s Eve. Time to get out the champagne, party hats, noise makers and celebrate as 2015 turns into 2016.
The brown dawgs did not want to be left out of the celebration so they got out their party stuff and posed for a couple of pictures.

Freighter was a bit more skeptical of the whole thing.
Some pups have to worry about New Year’s Eve because there can be scary and loud fireworks. Brown dawgs will not have to worry about them this year because they will be up at our cabin and it is pretty quiet there this time of year.

We’re celebrating at home again this year. Actually it has become a tradition for us. I prefer peace and quiet over noisy crowds; and the company of my hubby and dogs over strangers.

Maybe Freighter pondered how he can open that bottle without having thumbs? we will have a quiet night too, it’s not common here to welcome the new years with booms and bangs… the only things what make noises are the pops of the corks :o) Happy New Year!
Looks like a great celebration going on at your house. That is all pretty scary and strange Freighter. We cats here have to put up with being dressed up all the time but luckily we don’t have to do New Years. A very Happy New Year to all of you.
We’ll have a quiet New Year’s eve and we are hoping the neighbors will as well. Some years they do set off fireworks but they don’t seem to as much lately, so fingers crossed! Happy New Year to all of you!
John is working all day, I’m going shopping then going to bed before midnight.
