There is a rumor about the Easter Bunny.

By tradition, the Easter Bunny is an egg-laying rabbit.  This tradition was brought to America in the 1700’s by German immigrants. They told their children to make ‘nests’ with their caps and bonnets, and if they were good the bunny would leave them colored eggs.

However, I have heard a rumor that it is not a bunny at all.

What?  Not A Bunny!

It is true!  I have heard a rumor that it is actually a big brown Chesapeake Bay Retriever, although I am not too sure about the egg-laying part.

Guess we will all just have to wait to see if it is true!

The Real Easter Bunny?

Whatever the truth, hope the “Bunny” pays you a visit.

  2. I always hope wabbits visit me all the time so I can capture them. I don’t care too much about the eggs. Your Easter retriever looks a bit suspicious.

  5. Hehehe you are funny, did you know that Easter was named after the saxon goddess Eostre and was original celebrated for the coming of Spring which was stolen by the christians to convert the pagans as the real christian Easter should be later if you use the old calendar which was originally used.Eostre is a mother goddess and turned a bird in winter into a hare so that it could survive the winter, the hare found it could lay eggs which it decorated and left as offerings to the goddess that saved its life.so now you know where the easter bunny came from cool huh?xx Speedy
