At 8 years old Storm is older & wiser. Yesterday I wrote about Freighter having a bit of trouble with some in line bumpers at training. In line bumpers are bumpers which are thrown to fall in a straight line. (Read that post here.) I also said that this type of set-up is one that a dog can practice so that it is easier for them. I know this because Storm used to have trouble with in line bumpers, but now she can retrieve them easily.
When it was Storm’s turn to run the set-up, she approached it with confidence and joy.
Storm says: “That is how it is done!”
Bravo Storm! I love how your ears fly when you work… you are a pawfect hunting girl… apaws apaws!
Way to go Storm! I’m sure little brother Freighter will get the hang of it fairly quickly.
Well done Storm. You sure are good at that.
Well done Storm! You did a wonderful job.
Way to go in showing them how its done!
For Bailie and I it is not just the maturity, but the speed. Bailie is always fast and tends to miss stuff. I take it a bit slower and rarely miss things.
Great job Storm!!

Such joie de vive! Or is that joie de retrieve?
LOL good one!
Great job, Storm! You could put on a clinic about how to get those bumpers!
Good girl storm your looking good. There is something to be said about maturity
Storm is lucky, she has a ‘job’ that she loves. When you have that, it’s not really work. 🙂
