Nestle is a picky eater.  I decided to change her food because she is not doing well on her current food.  I was dreading it.  But just my luck we received a sample of Nulo Freestyle Salmon & Lentil Recipe Grain Free Adult Trim Cat Food from Chewy.com.

Nestle Needs A New Food OhNo!

As Nestle has aged she has had some digestive and behavioral issues. I decided that a change in food was in order.  But Nestle won’t eat just anything.  I wanted to find a quality grain-free food that she would eat.  I did not think that the foods my local pet stores stocked were right for Nestle.  Thankfully Chewy.com offers a huge selection of foods for cats.  I was able to sit on my comfy couch and compare the different foods and read customer reviews.  I order the brown dawgs’ food from Chewy.com so I know that Chewy.com has afforable shipping: Free 1-2 day FedEx shipping for orders over $49 and a flat rate of $4.95 for orders under $49.

After considering several foods, I decided on Nulo Freestyle Salmon & Lentil Recipe Grain Free Adult Trim Cat Food.

Why Nulo Freestyle?

I selected Nulo Freestyle Salmon & Lentil Recipe Grain Free Adult Trim Cat Food because it is a sensitive digestion formula and Grain-Free,  GMO-Free, with no Corn, Wheat, or Soy.  It is also made in the USA.  This is a weight control formula with L-Carnitine which supports the metabolism of fats.  Nestle does not have a weight issue; however, with her sensitive digestion, I do not want to load her up on fats.

What Did Nestle Think?

The food looked good to me, but what would Nestle think of it?  Remember she is picky!

Well she put her face in the bowl and ate and ate and ate.  She ate like she had not eaten in weeks.

I finally had to shoo her from the bowl because I did not want her to overdo it.  I think it is safe to say she loved the Nulo Freestyle Salmon & Lentil Recipe Grain Free Adult Trim Cat Food from Chewy.com.

  1. Dig in Nestle, that looks tasty!!! Is there sometimes food-eggs-change in your house, that the brown dawgs want the cat food or vice versa? Or is there peace between feline and canine world?

  2. I’ve never heard of this brand, but it sounds great, and that’s so wonderful that Nestle didn’t just like it, but loved it!
Samantha is not too picky about dry food, but very picky about wet food. We feed some of both. But I tend to stick with what I know she likes even for dry food, and right now she’s doing well on Chicken Soup food for dry.

  3. It’s so great to find a food our pets like that’s also really good for them. Daisy’s on grain-free food too, and we noticed her allergies stopped after she was eating it for several weeks. I love Nestle’s “do not disturb” face! 😀
