Training can bring on the mischief. Usually Storm is pretty solid with her holds, but on this particular day, she got very creative trying to hold the cold bumpers.
But it wasn’t only holding the bumpers that brought on the mischief. Once Storm got the bumpers back, I guess she felt that since she had warmed them up, she wasn’t going to release them easily.
This is a Blog Hop. Thanks to Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog, Luna, a Dog’s Life, and My Brown Newfies for setting up this hop. Please go to any of the sponsoring blogs to find out who else has been mischievous or to join the hop.
I don’t blame you…if I had that much trouble holding on too it to begin with, I would not let go if it either! HA!

I am sure that is what Storm was thinking too!
Definitely mischievous! Happy Monday!
Happy Monday (now Tuesday) Finn!
Ha-Ha! Storm is one smart pup! I wouldn’t let it go again either after all that work to get it warm!
She is sometimes too smart. 😉
Definitely mischief! I know she is better behaved than Delilah, but I can’t help thinking they are cut from similar cloth. 🙂
I could see how a cold bumper would be challenging to hold in your mouth, I wonder if they know about opposable thumbs and what they are missing?
If she would just hold it like every other lab out there, it would be much easier…but they are Chessies and sometimes have their own ideas. 😆
Delilah and Storm are a lot alike…
Smaaart, who wants that icy cold in their mouth. Heehee
The labs did. 🙂
They look like great toys – I wouldn’t let go either! *waggy tail*
You should see them with a duck. Those they absolutely don’t like to give up. 🙂
Can’t blame Storm for not wanting to let go of those bumpers. After all she is did all the work warming them up! LOL!
I am sure you are right!
LOL – yeah, after working that hard, I think she earned getting to keep the bumper. 🙂 Very cute.
But we needed the bumper for more drill work. 🙂
Storm, you are so ingenious!
She is something,isn’t she? 😆
We sure hope you guys are entering MangoMinster this year. There is a category for working doggies!! mangominster.blogspot.com

We will might do that. Thanks for letting us know. 🙂
We’re still struggling to catch up (& keep up!) with blog friends so sorry for the late visits…but just been enjoying catching up on your posts! I LOVE the picture you got of Thunder & Storm in the snow (the first one in your Sunday Stills post) – and oh my God, the puppy photos!!! SQUEEE!!! I love the shot here of Storm holding the bumper & looking up…she’s such a beautiful, intelligent girl!
Hsin-Yi
Thanks for stopping by Hsin-Yi. Storm may very well be smarter than her handlers. 😆
We know what you mean!!! Tennis Balls are tough in the cold too. I have to chomp and chomp till I get them warm!!
Doggy Kisses,
Tanner
I think Storm tried chomping too, but those bumpers are thick, especially when frozen. 🙂
Hey Storm,
What a great start to another year of Mischief!! I love how you play it your way buddy!! Don’t want the humans to think they can have their own way all the time, right?! Tee Hee 🙂
Have fun,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Storm is good at not letting her humans have their own way…lol…she practices daily!
Oh Storm you are a character! Love the photos 🙂
She is a character for sure. 🙂
LOL That is one SMART dog! 🙂
Storm always looks so excited when she gets the bumpers. I guess that is the point though right? If a dog lets the bumper touch the ground on the way back to they lose points?
Hi Y’all,
That is too funny. Got to agree, the cold makes life tough to have fun.
Y’all come back now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
