Thank you to Misty Shores Chesapeakes for awarding this blog with the Collies Choice Award (here).  Not only am I excited to get a badge with pretty collies for my sidebar,  🙂  but I am humbled to be so honored.  This award was started by The Collies Of The Meadow and a description of the award and rules can be found here.

I would like to pass this award on to Nero’s Post and Patch.  If you don’t know Teje, you are really missing out.  She lives in Crete, Greece with her husband and 3 dogs (Nero, Hanna and Foxy) and a cat named Nelli.  Teje is a very talented artist, who paints, does felt work and sews.  But my favorite are the patchworks she designs.  Her designs are gorgeous and she makes some bold fabric choices that are just wonderful.  You can see some of her work here.  If you enjoy sewing, Teje always has links to other great quilting and project blogs and maybe a contest or two.  🙂  Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Greece and stop by and say “hi” to Teje and her gang.

Oh I blushed and almost teared! When I first time moved to my own home, my first ‘own’ dogs were Collies! Most sweet girls, golden colour Siina and grey Noora – I still miss them a lot! Now I need to speak with my Dear Nero and ask him to write a post for this ‘Collies Choice Award’!
