Storm is still not sure about Freighter.

Why Is That Puppy Still Here?

Storm does not appreciate Freighter biting at her face.

Come And Play With Me I Won't Bite

Slowly they are figuring out how to play together.

  1. Great pictures. That last one is hilarious! It won’t be long before Freighter has enticed them and they all play like puppies!

I left another comment yesterday on your last post to tell you I tagged you. Really there is no pressure. I know how busy things can get especially with a puppy! You can check out my blog and play along if you like.

  2. Hey Freighter,

Are the Big Dogs teaching you a few lessons? Not surprised you wanna play with the Big Dogs though, don’t worry you’ll be as big as them soon buddy! 🙂

    Have fun

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

  3. I’ve wondered how Finn would react if we brought in a new puppy too. Perfect captions to the photos!

  4. LOL. Freighter looks like he gave Storm an upper cut to the jaw in that last picture:)

  5. haha adorable. The daycare tells me Sophie does well with puppies (4+ months). She will walk away if she gets overwhelmed but if they keep pestering her, she tries to sit on them. Oy!

  6. Luna had a hard time with Wyatt in the beginning too. I am sure they will come around to at least enjoy being near eachother. Those sharp puppy teeth being gone will help, but you knew that already. Cute photos, looks like everyone is right on schedule.

  7. Ah, they are slowly working through it! Soon they will be the closest friends! 🙂
Love your blog and those Chessies!

    Your friends,
    The Collies and Chuck 🙂

  8. My person think’s Freighter is so cute I’m afraid she might think of bringing a puppy in my house. Storm, I’m with you on this.

  9. Poor Storm. Puppies are very hard.

On the other hand, a mildly irritated older dog can be the best guarantee of a well-behaved puppy. I’m sure Storm will be teaching Freighter some manners as he gets out of line.

  10. Aw, poor Storm, that was the one benefit I have to admit about bringing an older dog into the house, there was no puppy biting. 🙂

  11. Hi Y’all!

Too funny! Reminds me of our Candy, who was a female Chessie.

Someone dumped a puppy and we took it in until we could find a home for it. She did not like the way the puppy tried to jump up to her face. She did her best to ignore the pup. Once the pup left she returned to being her happy self.

  12. Storm, You have to discipline those youngsters now, before it’s too late! Just ask my older Aire- sister ‘Stanzie’. She wishes she would have put the hammer down on me 3 years ago, cuz now I’m a big brat!

  13. And I’ll bet she’ll grow to love him most. 🙂
This is great getting to see your puppy raising experience via photos.

  15. It looks like they are finally getting along! I have told my humans over and over again. This is a one pug household. No more puppies….. unless I decide I need friends. 🙂
