Great photos!! I love the very last one of Freighter in the snow looking thoughtful!!
They are just great. Wonder what the thoughts were? Mine would be , can we go hunt squiggles now! Have a wonderful Wednessday.
Best wishes Molly
These are wonderful. My fav is of Thunder, he just looks so sweet. Freighter got a whiff of something in the second to last shot.
Just love your pictures of the brown dogs..we have one named Sadie..
I too am training for Hunt tests with Sadie..what type of collar does Freighter have on in the pictures today..it’s light blue like an e collar?
Thanks and I enjoy your blog each day with my morning coffee. Marie Olson
Hi thanks for stopping by. Freighter has on his invisible fence collar. We are not allowed to have fences where we live so all of our dogs have been trained to it and have never broken the “fence”. Freighter actually has Thunder’s old collar. He doesn’t need it anymore since he knows his boundaries.
Just love the pictures of Freighter! What type of e collar is he wearing that’s so small and light blue..I’d like one for my Chessie..Sadie…
How old is Sadie and what level hunt test is she at? Love to hear more about her. 🙂
Sadie is 2 years old and we train at the Buckeye Retriever Training Grounds in Hamden Ohio..We started last summer and are working towards our JH this year..got a slow start last year but hope to be able to work in field a few more days this spring/summer..
Sadie is a Treasure Lake Chesapeake..my first Chessie as we had black dogs before this..
Keep writing and posting pictures…love it…
Marie
I know your breeder and her dogs and run into them now and again. She has judged our dogs many times. 🙂 In fact before Freighter, she had done a breeding to his daddy and we asked her how she thought the pups turned out. She was very helpful. One of these days we are going to get to some of the Ohio hunt tests. 🙂
You are doing way better with me with your new camera and I’ve had my camera for over a year! Very nice pictures!
