More pictures from the show last weekend. Most of these are from Saturday’s show. Both shows were a lot of fun this weekend because there were a lot of great dogs entered and I knew I would be happy no matter who got the ribbons. I was not able to get pictures of all of the dogs, but here is a sampling.
Take a look:
The next picture is Ace who was Winner’s Dog on Saturday. Ace is a Master Hunter. I have seen Ace work in the field and he is a very nice dog.
Last weekend Smokey, (Thunder’s daughter/Freighter’s mom), earned her Grand Championship. Smokey does not spend a lot of time in the ring, but she did a wonderful job last weekend taking Best Of Opposite Sex to the Best Of Breed on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Select Bitch on Sunday. Good job Smokey! Congrats Cindy!
Wait the next dog isn’t a Chessie! It just so happened that the Flat Coats were showing in the ring after the Chessies finished up. I knew that Hasbro, one of our training pals, was entered. I stopped to watch and to try to get a picture. Hasbro has his Senior Hunter title and is well on his way to earning his Master Hunter title. He took Reserve Winner’s Dog on Saturday and Best of Breed for his second major win on Sunday. He is also going to Westminster. Good job and good luck to our buddy Hasbro!
Unfortunately, I was not quick enough to get my camera out and get in position to get a good picture of Hasbro. He is much more handsome than this picture.
I like my new camera a lot. I experimented with some different settings on my camera for the show on Sunday. I like the way the pictures from Sunday turned out better than these. Hopefully I will remember the settings for future shows. 🙂
Tomorrow, a little of This ‘N That.
Really great shots of all the dogs, you and the camera are doing terrific. Congratulations to all the winners. Looks like it was a fun for the 4 day(?) show:-)
It was a four day show, but we only went for two of them. 🙂
Your really getting some great photos with your camera 🙂
Looks like it was a brilliant day for everyone involved- Freighter looks stunning 🙂
Slobbers
Great pix. We too get our setting right and then forget which ones we used. Looks like a great show. Four days though must be quite tiring? Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
When Mom went to the Winter Dog Classic in 2012 she “focused” (pun intended) on taking photos of the Shelties! She also bought some adorable things there! Mom wishes she could have made it this year.
That show had some of the best shopping opportunities of any show I have been to in a while. 🙂
Great pics. nice try storm. congrats to smokey on her grand champion. do you use the action setting? when i do movement pics indoors mine ate fuzzy.
No I use different settings. I will try to post more detail tomorrow. 🙂
They are good photos for sure. MOM can never remember the setting when she finds something she likes.
Blessings,
Goose
I think I’m going to hire you as my show photographer!!! Very nice!!
I think these all came out great. 🙂
Oh they’re all gorgeous and you really got some great pics with the new camera
Great photos, I think all the dogs look great.
As someone totally camera-phobic, I admire the skills of those of you who manage to capture some great shots.
I think th epics are great! How I would love to go to a dog show!
Great job with the new camera!
I’ve never been to a dog show …it looks like so much fun! Great pictures.
They don’t give you cheeseburgers, Pip. But they give you snacks that are pretty darned close!
Nice pictures. They look right at home in the show ring.
