Rugs are not safe in our house. Not since The Destroyer came to town.
Oh it looks like a puppy, but it is so much more. It can get to rugs that are not really near its crate and chew them up to nothing. It must have a special serpentine tongue that allows it to grab and pull them close. Then when it has taken care of the rugs, it can move the tray in its crate and chew the carpet underneath.
If you need your rugs cleaned, why bother…just call The Destroyer!
This is a Blog Hop. Thanks to Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog, Luna, a Dog’s Life, and My Brown Newfies for setting up this hop. Please go to any of the sponsoring blogs to find out who else has been mischievous.
Aw but he looks so innocent!!!
Woof! Woof! Got strong jaw n teeth. Happy MM. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Haha! That’s impressive! 😀
But look at that face! That face! So sweet. He didn’t do it, he swears. It was Thunder.
Except when hubby came home a certain small brown dawg still had the evidence in his mouth and the hydrogen peroxide provided further evidence. (Yep he got the treatment!)
Ha-ha! The Destroyer! love it! Send him on over, I few a few rugs that need some cleaning:)
LOL OH Freighter!! I’d love to have a nanny cam that showed exactly how he was doing this things. Perhaps he’s a wizard dog, and can do magic. He summoned the rug to him. 🙂 It stinks that you had to puke him though, do you think he will associate the two and try to wean himself from the rugs?
WOW that must be some tongue he has!
Blessings,
Goose
look at that precious face! How can a dog with a face like THAT be a “destroyer?” xoxoxo
Hasn’t he grown into a great looking dog. Too bad he’s the destroyer.
Oh my, the dark destroyer are work. We say Freighter is innocent. We blame the squirrels. Have a marvelous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Have you considered renting him out? A lot of people are getting rid of their old carpet to get hardwood floors now.
Oh no! Not the rugs. 🙁 I think he and my Toby would have a blast finding things to destroy together!
The Destroyer – very funny 😀 Had quite a few of those in my lifetime
I LOVE that pic! So regal looking… and totally free from from all mischief!
Awe Freighter…..I WAS going to ask if you wanted to spend a glorious weekend with me here in sunny Florida! Hmmmmmm, re-thinking this one now!
Lovies anyway, Miss Mindy
Oh Freighter, sounds as if you are a bit of a trouble maker but a handsome one, at least! Sometimes it is so hard to stay out of trouble but you might get more treats if you can, that’s what I finally figured out. Good luck! Holly(Mama’s chihuahua). By the way, she said thanks for visiting her blog.
Gotta love the entertainment of the young dogs!
But just look at that perfect heel position and that straight sir…aww, what a good dawg 😉
Thanks for visiting our blog! You are a lovely dog and look so obedient! When our lab mix was a young in’, he is nearly 11 now he ate not one but two couches, or at least ripped them to shred
urban hounds
I have never been a destructive pup, really, but for some reason I always insisted on chewing up the rug by the front door…I did not give up until I was almost 3!
Like Molly always says, it was probably really the squirrels that did it. 😉 The worst Daisy ever did was to destroy the stretcher bar at the base of our coffee table. I thought that was pretty bad until you got me thinking about rugs and how much more expensive it would be to replace them all the time!
I am become Freighter, Destroyer of Rugs!
Those for sure look like some rug-killer’s! My drool can be destructive as well.
Haha Freighter,
Didn’t take long for you to put your mark on the place hey buddy!! Great mischief, though I’m not sure your Mom is too happy about it – oops!
Wags to all
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Happy Tuesday woofs & huggies! <3
~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)
Haha…we have one of those in our house too. His name is Jake, and he’s a husky. We’ve learned to keep anything worth keeping — rugs, shirts, etc — a very good distance away from his crate, or a terrible fate will befall it. And he “popped” the tray in his old crate enough that it split, and tried to dig his way of the crate — through carpet — while we were gone one day. Left a deep hole — even worse because we were renting the house. We’ve since gotten him a bigger crate and his desire to “destroy” seems to have died down significantly. Here’s hoping that as he continues to get older, those desires will continue to decrease. 🙂
But he looks so innocent 🙂
Oh boy Freighter…sounds like you are going through a naughty stage. Don’t you know that there are much tastier things around like Mommy’s underwear and Daddy’s shoes? Ha, ha.
Oh, he’s so cute! We had a dog eat our carpet (wall to wall carpet!) once when we were dog-sitting it. Not good. Luckily Rita only likes to eat actual food items!
Sophie’s preferences were remote controls and CD disks and Squirt’s were clothes.
We have some old rugs we would like to send you sweet Freighter then maybe Mumsy would get some new ones for around here. We don’t chew rugs and we don’t think she is going to get us nice new ones to nap on until these are nothing but holes and thread. Hugs and nose kisses
Destroyer! Your Lab cousin lives here – her taste runs more towards paper products but she brings the same zest for destruction to her work 🙂
