I wanted to get some portraits of the dogs while it is still nice and green around the cabin. It won’t be long before the leaves start to turn up there. The ferns are already starting to turn brown.
Thunder was up first. He was bit distracted by some people driving by on atv’s. That worked to my favor because I got his ears to perk up. Cookies weren’t doing it this time.
Next up was Freighter. I did not trust him off lead because of the atv’s. He was busy waiting for them to drive by when he heard shooting from the other side of the river. I don’t think the people were hunting, just doing some target practice. I used the sound of the shots to my advantage to get Freighter to pay attention.
Last up was Storm who loves to have her picture taken. Not really. Storm hates to sit for pictures. This day was no exception, but I managed to get a few that I liked. She is on lead too because the vet drummed into our heads that she was not to go out off lead until today.
Storm let me know when the session was over.
Roooo pawsome portraits! Really love the close ups *Waggy tail*
PAWsome Summer Portraits. Golden LOVE all of them particularly the close-up photos. Hope they got some tasty treats after the shot. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Beautiful photos! My sister doesn’t like photos either, unlike me who loves the camera. Storm looks to be turning grey on her eyebrows and muzzle…do you suppose it was the puppies that caused that:) Humans always tell their kids that they make their hair turn grey? She looks beautiful, though! I bet she will be happy to be able to be off leash once again!
wonderful photographs, I think Thunder looks quite pleased!
Wow those are excellent photos! That third photo of Thunder is particularly striking.
Great photos, I think they all turned out really well!
We think they are great. Excellent pix and they would make great portraits. Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
Such wonderful photographs. You really are talented
I love how their different personalities shine through. Storm’s especially. In that respect she reminds me of Sampson, when he’s done he just puts his head down.
Great photos!!
They are all beautiful!
Beautiful portraits. I love their eyes!
Beauwoooowooooootiful! Ku
I absolutely love love love all of your dogs! They are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing these awesome photographs! Give them all a great big hug from us at Nikitaland!
Beautiful portraits. People seldom realize how difficult being a top model really is.
Wow those are amazing! What a great job you did with them. It helps when you have good modeling subjects too I suppose 🙂
How lucky for you that twice you had a distraction work in your favor. If only distractions ALWAYS worked in our favor, right? 🙂
Leah is just like Storm. She hates hates HATES the camera, often leaving the room if she hears the velcro opening on the camera case. 🙂
Very nice! Love the closeups best.
The head shots are magnificent! I’m so glad to see their faces in detail. From the full set of pictures, one can really start to see the minor differences that make each dog unique. Previously the brown dogs all look similar to my untrained eyes when they are running up and down the fields when birds in their mouths 😀 *sorry!*
great shots- they are such noble dogs:)
These are all wonderful, but the head shots are just fabulous!
So handsome and gorgeous! That last one of Storm is priceless. 🙂
Love the close-up pictures! Storm’s first picture definitely shows her disinterest in the whole picture taking process. 🙂
Those are some fantastic shots. I love them all and the head shots are very very nice.
All beautiful photos. Of course, you have such great subjects to work with! I cannot believe Fall is almost here….we might get a frost here tonite! I love Fall, but I’m not quite ready for that yet!
You got fabulous shots of them all. They are just such beautiful dogs with lovely coats. I love their eyes and their colors. You are a great photographer my friend. Hugs and nose kisses
Great photos, I like that they’re focusing on something else.
