Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! We spent a long weekend at the cabin. It snowed on and off all day Thanksgiving day. Freighter got a lesson on not snooping around snow-covered trees.
Please bear with me as I try to catch up, (and attempt to get our Christmas tree up). A special thanks to all who entered the Thanksgiving Edition of This ‘N That Thursday! Also thanks to my co-host Ruckus the Eskie for holding down the fort with the hop while the brown dawgs were away. Ruckus the Eskie has a great give away going on so stop over and check it out!
Thanks to Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog and My Brown Newfies for hosting the Monday Mischief blog hop.

LOVE those photos and LOVE the festive look of your blog!! It’s PAWTASTIC!
Hope you had a good turkey day too. Love the Christmas background! Love the second picture of Freighter!
Love the christmas look to the site! Poor Freighter – that’s too funny that the snow got dumped on him!
You guys got snow! I’m jealous!
I love snow covered faces-they are so fun! Both Sherman and Leroy love to walk into bushes covered with snow!
Love the snow shot – you really caught Freighter at the perfect moment. There’s no face like a snow face….sorry, I’m really tired today! 😉
PS – I LOVE your new Christmassy background!!
I love those photos. I get such a chuckle out of dogs with snow on their faces. 🙂 Do you think he really learned a lesson though?
That looks good on you!
Looks like Freighter isn’t bothered by the snow. He actually looks warm enough. Way to go Freighter.
Love the Christmasy feel to the blog! I couldn’t help but laugh at poor Freighter. The picture reminds me of my poodle, Kissy, when I took her outside for her first frolic in the snow. She stuck her whole face into a big snow drift at the end of the driveway and the snow stuck to her little snout. It was so cute, but she was cold after that so I had to carry her inside, dry her off, and warm her up. I will miss that little girl until the day we are reunited at the bridge.
love the dog pictures…even though I hate cold weather lol….can’t wait till summer and snow is history 🙂

We are waiting for snow. We had some but it turned back to rain and ruined it all. Now we might have to wait a whole week to get more.
