It’s Follow-up Friday. The blog hop that:
Let’s you wrap up your week and leads you right into the weekend.
Thank you to Jodi from Heart Like A Dog for hosting the hop!
Following up on Christmas…
Santa heard that the brown dawgs have been mostly good this year so he stopped by to visit them. Well he didn’t exactly visit them, but he left them some goodies.
Santa left a bunch of treats and some toys.
Thunder got his favorite-Rabbit Jerky From Jones Natural Chews. He also got a container of pumpkin cookies from a local bakery and two toys.
Storm got some Jones Chicken Taffy and Taffy Snaps. She also got a Kong Wubba.
Freighter got some Origen Freeze-Dried Black Angus treats and some Natural Balance Bison and Sweet Potatoes cookies. He also got his first stuffies. He is to an age where hopefully he will play with them rather than try to eat them.
Even Nestle got some stuff.
Sorry no pictures of Nestle with the mouse because she was a bit scared of it. I think once she plays with it more, she will discover it is fun!
Once the dogs had some fun with their toys, they shared some of Thunder’s cookies.
Hope Santa brought you good stuff too.
A couple of housekeeping items:
- I hope you like my new theme. I felt it was time for a change. I may tweak it a bit here and there, but I already feel more organized.
- I joined Bloglovin and put a “follow” icon on my sidebar. I liked Feedly, but it seemed like it was slow to update and I was often getting notice of posts hours late.
- If your blog uses Google+ for comments, I cannot comment on your blog. Google+ will not let me comment in the name of my blog so until they fix that, I refuse to use it. I am sorry about that and I hope they will change it eventually.
And that is it for this week.
Have a nice weekend!

The colors are relaxing and I like how the top bar stays fixed (reminds my Mom of Excel), I like the sidebar too. I guess that means that I like it 🙂 I don’t get the blog lovin’ thing, but I guess it isn’t important if I don’t use it, we like getting posts per email, don’t use a reader. Tell Thunder for me that I got wabbit jerky from Jones Chews for Christmas and it is my very favorite thing ever too! Have a great weekend!
Email is great and I still have that option available for people, but I am away from the net so much that I was having trouble getting too many posts by email and loading up my phone. I was also missing some. I loved google reader which made it easy to keep organized. I dislike the wordpress reader so now I am trying different readers. I find it easier to keep all my feeds in one place and then I don’t miss any. 🙂
Aww! I hope Nestle discovers mousies are fun!
You had such a great week 😀
What a great Christmas for the pups!
Love your new look, forgot to mention it yesterday. I also am using bloglovin but guess I should put a link up on my site too. Looks like they all enjoyed their gifts, did Freighter wreck his toys yet. Gman put a hole in his raccoons head already.
Freighter has bigger fish to fry like chewing on Thunder’s dog house! Brat!
Pawsome pawesome Christmas fur you brown dawgies! Woooooowooooooo!
We can see it was a happy holiday and the pups had some pawsome fun.
Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
I meant to say yesterday when I stopped by that I LOVE the new theme! And I think we already have you in our Bloglovin feed but we will double check just in case. So glad the Brown Dawgs had a wonderful Christmas!

It’s always fun to change the look and yours is great! I am going to change from Blogger to another host in the New Year. Can you email about WordPress? That is the direction I was leaning…
I like your new theme, the colors are just wonderful. it looks like your dogs made out like bandits. Hubby and I scoured two different stores looking for some toys that were not made in China…LOL we failed so our dogs got a bag of treats. I know, my poor dogs. But we did give them lovely walks on Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas to try and make up for it.
How did Freighter do with the stuffies? Mine will leave them forever and then one day BOOM they are torn up OR they just go for it right away. Either way, we are okay with it. 🙂 Except for always having to clean stuffing up. LOL
Thanks for joining the blog hop! And we hope you have a great weekend.
Great blog layout! We really like it.
…the kitties here have cheese on the brain now that they’ve seen the Cheese Chaser!
Merry Belated Christmas & Happy New Year!
love,
Glogirly, Katie & Waffles
Looks like you guys had quite the Christmas! Everybody got a little spoiled 🙂 I think your kitty will get used to the mouse. Sometimes toys are scary to kitties until they know what they are. In any case, substituting any gift for an empty box or catnip always works.
What a great Christmas for your crew….so many goodies!! We have the same cat stocking as you do (ha ha, it’s probably one of the few cat stockings available!).
I agree about Google+ commenting, it really annoys me that I can’t leave my blog link when I comment. Not everyone knows who we are by just our personal names!
Love all your photos! Looks like you had a great holiday!! Much love, The Scottie Mom.
Looks like it was a great holiday and everyone was spoiled!
New theme looks good and I also have the same annoyance with the Google+ comments and don’t use them as a result.
I tried feedly but find that it slows down my browers… still looking around for web-based readers… Have a good week… sorry I’ve not been around much! 😛
It sure looks like Santa was good to them this year!
