Our ponds and small lakes finally opened up the week before last. They were still too cold for long swims, but the brown dawgs couldn’t resist a quick retrieve or two. Actually, the dogs probably would have loved a longer swim. They sure didn’t hesitate to blast into the water like it was July rather than April.

Fantastic pictures, my gang is in love with the water, it is like it has been forever since they swam. I can’t believe non of my gang got cold tail from the water. My friends dog got cold tail from a bath with the hose this past weekend.
Funny you should say that. We were thinking the same thing and Freighter has a show this weekend…lol.
Those pictures are amazing! What a great series! Those dogs sure do look happy to be getting back into the water.
Great photos, enjoy a bath :o) I rather watch you from a distance :o)
Wow! What fantastic shots!!! Looks like a blast!!
Fantastic shots and we can they had a blast. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Fabulous action shots! They look so happy you would think it was a hot day in August!
Great shots! Looks like they were pretty stoked to be able to swim again!
Hopefully we’ll get to do the same soon, too!
Great photos – what fun they must have had! Yeah Spring!
More great photos! They do look rather excited to jump in 🙂
One would never think the water to be cold seeing them having so much fun. Stupendous shots!!! Hugs and nose kisses
Delilah would go in too! That’s if we had any around us that allowed dogs. Boy howdy does she love to swim. Looks like Storm and Freighter had a grand time.
My mom is always amazed at me as I go swimming even when there is still ice on the water. I’m not cold at all! Go brown dogs, go!
Hi Y’all!
Wow! What fun! What fun! Wish I was there. It was close to 80 here at the shore today, which is pretty normal for this time of year.
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Great photos!
Great photos! They are so joyful 🙂 Wouldn’t it be nice to just be able to ignore the temperature of the water like that? That ability to find excitement in everything is one of the things that makes dogs such wonderful creatures.
What fun shots! Your dogs rock!!
They look like they’re having a wonderful time! I’m always keen to get in the water – even if I have to break the ice!
Oh, I love those photos….they are so happy!! Sheba can’t wait to go swimming this year, and I can’t wait to see how Luke is going to like it. Cricket (the beagle) will swim also, though we haven’t taken her in a while.
Your photos… FANTASTIC! You know I love “water dogs!”
Such amazing photographs! Nothing more photogenic than dogs in water! They both looked like that had a whale of a time!
Hugs, Carrie (Myfie, Ellie and Millie) x
