Freighter thinks he is King of the Forest.
Storm says not so fast Freighter. It is her forest and she just lets you visit.
All kidding aside, I like both of these pictures which were taken in the shade of the forest. Sometimes I struggle with getting decent pictures in shady settings, but I think these both turned out. Both were taken with my favorite lens: Canon EF-S18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS. Settings for the picture of Freighter: shutter speed (TV) 1/125, aperture value (AV) 5.0, ISO 320. Settings for Storm’s picture: shutter speed 1/50, aperture value 5.6, ISO 100.
I love how these turned out! Beautiful!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
I say whoever was born first is the king or queen. Sorry Freighter, but that’s the rule in this house – for the dogs at least. Of course, according to Ducky, rules were made to be broken.
LOL that is Freighter too. He thinks he is the most entitled.
But Freighter looks so noble, a wonderful usurper? Bet every chance he gets? It is always interesting to see the relationship develop between the “first-born” and the new arrival. Young Cullen, the chieftain, adored Coco. He in turn remained the dominant Chessie, even with Queen Macha around. She respected him. Erynn probably is a bit like Freighter…but in reality she is only “Dunflaith Muireen”, brown princess born of the sea. Put in her place by the warrior queen.
I like the photo of Storm, looking back as she heads into her kingdom!
Gorgeous stance!
Great shots of both dogs.
I’d say they both rule the forest together. Beautiful shots.
Both photos came out very nice. They do look like the king and queen though!
Fantastic photos! I should get my *real* camera out more often. I’m usually lazy and just whip out my phone!
You two definitely look like royalty! 🙂
Great pictures. They both are king and queen of the forest.
These two… what about Thunder then? :PP
They’re good pictures. Shooting outside can be challenging. There can be too much sun, too much shade..etc. Pat yourself on the back for those!
Hi Y’all!
Freighter is posed like a wild stallion surveying his domain. Storm reminds me of a deer checking behind her just before taking flight (you know, those flying leaps that help them disappear in seconds).
Y’all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Great pictures!
