It won’t be long before autumn will give way to winter so I thought I would post a few photos I took a couple of weeks ago when we were out in the forest with the dogs. The forest near our cabin consists primarily of pine trees so our fall color is limited.
Still there is nothing prettier than the forest in autumn.
Except maybe when you come across something just dumped in the forest. Not so pretty.

Hi Y’all!
It’s the perfect time of year for humans and dogs alike. Beautiful weather and sights to behold!
Y’all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Don’t say hunting season is about over. Time is going so fast and it feels like I have done nothing. Pretty pictures.
It seems like hunting season just started! Supposedly we’re going to have a mild winter, but I’ve heard that before! We’re having a gorgeous fall here too, and I’m soaking up every bit of color from it. 🙂
The most beautiful time of the year!
Autumn is such a perfect time of year for these type of photos!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
If only people would respect the woods more, and not leave their junk there!
Your photos are beautiful though…doesn’t the autumn sky always seem extra blue?
We also can’t believe your hunting season is almost over!
A perfect picture for what looks to be a perfect day!
We love the fall. Your new watermark is really neat too!
Normally, I love Autumn, but so far we’ve had a very wet and cloudy one and it’s getting to be very tiresome indeed.
fall weather must be lovely too
I have really been enjoying the photos of autumn I’ve been seeing (and taking!) Even now, when a good portion of our trees have lost their leaves I’ve been finding beauty in their starkness.
