Senior Dogs Having Fun
What could be better than watching senior dogs having fun? Thunder is 10 and Storm is 9 and when they play they give it their all.
Thunder and Storm could not take their eyes off the toys. Oh it is so hard to wait! Finally I started tossing them.
Thunder and Storm are retrievers so they always bring the toys back so they can be thrown again for them to retrieve.
They will retrieve the toys as many times as I throw them. Rarely do they stop because they are tired or bored.
Last throw because my arm is tired. Give it your all senior dogs.
And Thunder emerges with the red bone!
Here’s hoping all dogs have a fun weekend!
What fun! Barley is definitely not a retriever–she’ll chase things if I throw them a few times, but after a few tosses, she’s trying to hide the toys from me. For a border collie mix, she can definitely be lazy 🙂
What a blast! It is so great to see seniors running, retrieving, and giving it their all! We don’t have that enthusiasm for retrieving around here much since Cricket’s out of commission, and I can’t tell you how much I miss it!
Always having fun! Have a great weekend.
Dogs of all ages love to have fun. Seniors just may have shorter bursts of energy.
it’s great to watch all this muscles and the energy they show in your photos… and while our arms get tired, this two are probably ready for the next game :o)
It’s great that they’re active and staying in shape.
