Storm took a break from the trainer and came home for a weekend visit.
She was so excited that it was difficult to have her stay still for a picture (this is from my phone). But that wasn’t the surprise….

As the day wore on, the wind picked up. Thank goodness the sun came out briefly and melted most of the snow. Winter may not be over quite yet because we are under a winter weather advisory! As bad as the snow was, it wasn’t as bad as the weather our friends in the Southeast US had over the weekend. Stay safe out there!
Despite the weather we did get out to run some marks with the dawgs (more on that later). Storm’s marking and return are really nice. Last week her trainer had her running 200 yard marks (and working on longer marks!). He is still working on her handling though so we haven’t made a decision yet on whether to enter any tests in May.
It was a nice, but too short, visit with our girl!
