We were lucky enough to be on vacation when the Fall colors were just about peak.  They last such a short time.  Here is a sampling.

  1. Wow so beautiful, we dont get to see anything like that down here in Texas..sigh… I hope to go up north one year as the leave turn so I can see it my self 🙂

  2. Wow, that’s beautiful. We’ve only started to change and it’s been so uneventful so far!

  3. Such *gorgeous* fall colors! Our area usually looks like that, but with all the excessive rain and winds this year, the colors are faded on whatever trees haven’t had their leaves blown off already. Thanks for giving us that bit of fall beauty! 🙂

  4. Stunning pictures! The changing of seasons is so beautiful, I love the bright, crisp colors of fall, and then I love that first deep, covering snow when the world is blanketed in white and everything seems ‘muffled.’ Spring’s fresh breeze breathes life again.

Yeah, I can’t find anything nice to say about summer. 🙂

We have yet to really peak here in the NE.

  5. Thanks for sharing! We don’t get color like that where we live! Beautiful! You can almost smell the autumn smells!

  6. Such beautiful colorsss! I loved all your photos!! We don’t get to see such loveliness here — our trees look the same in all the seasons! Teehee!

    Woofs & hugs, <3

  7. Great photos. Love to see the leaves change, this is my first autumn and I am looking forward to my first winter and seeing snow for the first time. Love Bones

  8. For some reason, I guess my comment on this post didn’t take. Weird. Anyway, I had said that our fall is a bit disappointing because all the rains and wind have caused the leaves to fall prematurely and the colors are weak. Love your photos, they’re a good substitute! 🙂

    1. I swore that I read your comment. I went and looked and It is back on the first page of comments. I don’t know if I can change the setting of how many comments show up before it turns a page. I will look into it. I am not totally familiar with this new template.

I also have to go through my spam because WordPress has been putting comments in spam lately…grrr. Luckily yours didn’t end up there. If you want to see the comment that you left earlier, or any of the older comments, then go to the bottom of the comments and select “Older Comments” which has a back arrow. 🙂

Thank you for your comments. We had a wet summer, but Fall has been dry with sunny days and cold nights so I think it helped the colors. And our timing was right (for a change).

  9. Beautiful photos. We just went on a great fall hike yesterday. It looks like you have more deciduous trees than we do here in the northwest though.

Now that I am about done with revamping our blog I hope I get a chance to visit more. I have missed reading your posts 🙂
