Last week Freighter had a good week of training and is working well with his trainer.  Time for a little visit.

I only had my cell phone handy and he would not hold still for a picture.

Hey, What's Going On Over There?
Hey, What’s Going On Over There?
And Over There
And Over There?
Freighter
Finally A Decent Picture

Freighter was happy to see us, but he was much more interested in where his trainer was and what he was doing.  At one point his trainer took another client and his dog outside to demonstrate something.  Freighter was not happy that he did not get to go along.  He started whining and squeaking and pulling toward the door.  “Hey dog…the people who pay for your training and your room and board are standing right here next to you.  Aren’t you happy to see us?”  Now we know how parents feel when their kids go off to college!

  1. Oh man, what a diss!! But it shows how much he likes what he is doing, this guy is going to go far. 🙂

    Happy Hump Day.

  2. hahahahahahaha
It’d break my heart if Doggy did that.
But you are right, that’s what parents must feel when we leave their place and don’t call.

  3. Silly pup. Just like a teenager. Thanks for the visit, I’m FINE, and VERY BUSY, so you can leave now.

  4. Oh my mom would be devastated, she couldn’t leave me in the first place, I already know that. In your situation it is what you do so that is great, we all have our homes and lifestyles but mom can hardly leave us to go on vacation herself!

  5. It’s true. Dogs can be as ungrateful as kids when it comes to where is the most fun.

  6. Hi Y’all!

Oh, my my!!! In that last photo especially, Freighter looks like my twin!!! Or my mirror image at a younger age!

    Y’all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

  7. LOL…Mom & Dad just aren’t as much fun as retrieving are they? Sounds like Freighter is having a great time at boarding school

  8. LOL! I’m sure he is very happy to be home. My dogs are so used to me that if I am gone for a while and I come home, they act like it is no big deal. But a stranger comes over and suddenly my dogs act like a movie star has come over. Where’s the loyalty?

  9. That’s how my mom feels about the students she teaches. The ones she taught last year hardly recognize her this year haha!

  10. Uh oh Freighter, sounds like your Mom wants a few extra hugs buddy! Lucky you’ve got enough for everyone 🙂

    Wags to all,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂
