Just like a large part of the country, we got our share of snow over the weekend.

The brown dawgs had fun playing in it.

But a dawg chasing around in the snow can work up an appetite.

What has everyone else been snacking on this weekend?

  1. Yep Luna loves to eat snow too.. grass is preferred of course but she too doesn’t let the snow stop her. Silly girl, snow is only going to make her colder quicker. She loves to catch it too if I throw it or kick it up to her.

  2. LOL! Bailie likes to munch on the grass too. Now that it is covered with snow, so finds places where the plow got into the grass and tossed some into the snow and she eats that…well, she tries but has realized that dead frozen grass just isn’t as tasty as fresh green grass! Enjoy romping in the snow, we love it too!

  3. Loving that they are having snow much fun. Here it is so mild we haven’t even got the heating on. We are trying to make the lost of it.
    Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

  4. Pretty snow but it sure looks cold. Looks like you two had a ton of fun in it. Did that snow fill you up Freighter? lol Hugs and nose kisses

  5. My animals have been snacking on green beans, trying to loose a little weight. LOL

  6. Leroy’s been snacking on some snow and ice this weekend too. He likes to walk up to the patio table and just take a bite of snow!

  7. I love Freighter’s “hungry face”! LOL Our last dog used to eat snow and she loved to play it in too, but Daisy isn’t an outdoor dog (much to our dismay) and especially not in snow or heat, so for her it’s in-and-out as quickly as she can. With this weekend’s snow (it’s up to her tummy!), she’s been getting her business done in record time!

  8. You can guess what Delilah’s been snacking on. Damn dog! Then she sits in front of me and burps. It’s so disgusting, I wish she’d just eat snow!

  9. Same old snacks here since we don’t get any snow. *sigh* The dawgs sure look like they are having super fun in the snow! Ask them to zoomie once for me.

  10. All we got was rain — miserably cold rain — ugh! Thankfully, the sun came back out yesterday. Once the laundry is done, and the Sun has warmed up the back yard some, maybe Mom will take us outside to play.

  11. Cute! No snow to snack on here, but Rita’s been *trying* to snack on the dried starfish I put on out “dogs at the beach”-themed Christmas tree! (That will be my Monday Mischief post next week!)

  12. Haha! Thats so much like Mika!!! She leaves trails through the snow where she will bite into with her teeth…..not sure if she is trying to get to the grass that she likes to graze on (LOL) or if she just loves snow that much….either way its funny!

  13. Snow is so fun!
    I love it <3
Here in Sweden it's raining cats and dogs.
I am waiting for Santa and the snow 🙂

  14. They love eating snow for sure, maybe it cools them down. Elvis prefers snow to drinking water.

  15. Moses loves fresh snow for that very reason! He often dives his head into a snowbank on passing during a walk just to grab a bite. Or hiking in the mountains in the summer – he goes nuts for snow at elevation! Alma is far less interested. She wants her water pristine and liquid.

  16. Ours like to snack on the snow too, but they also can get under the deck and find a little dried grass there!

  17. Hey Guys

It sure hasn’t been snow, I’ve never even been lucky enough to see any, ever! Have some for me buddy,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂
