As we close the books on 2014, the brown dawgs would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our readers, for your all of your support this past year.  It means so much to us that you take the time to follow our escapades, read and comment on our posts, and join the Thursday Barks and Bytes Hop.  It has been a great year…now bring on 2015!

So are you going to stay up and watch the ball drop?

  1. They look like the got into the champagne a little early this year. Happy New Year! In 2015, may all your points be majors and all your sits be steady.

  2. hahahahahaha love all of them! Love the fireplace too! Have a great new years and thank you for barks and bytes blog hop. I so enjoy reading about other chessies and their escapades and it made it even better that I got to meet you and Freighter this year. Here’s to meeting up again in 2015 for another even greater year.

    1. Happy new Year to you my friend. I certainly hope that it works out that we meet up this year. 😉

  3. Hmm, Freighter does look a little tipsy but I think Storm is plotting revenge.

We’re looking forward to a quiet night – somebody drops a ball around here and we’re likely to shred it 😉

    1. LOL I ended staying up because it looked like it was shaping up to be a big time fireworks night in my neighborhood. Turned out not to be too bad. I guess after the explosive fest on July 4th the dogs were sufficiently desensitized and they barely noticed. 🙂

  4. Hey! I’m stealing a photo from your blog. And what’s the dogs’ favorite Jones treat?

    1. That is fine about the picture and they love the Chicken Taffy!

  5. Hi Y’all!

Wishing y’all a safe and healthy 2015 with lots of successful hunting!

    Happy New Year,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

  6. Happy New Year!! I will not be staying up intentionally. I have my little grand niece tonight so it will be special, but probably not until midnight.

    Love the photos.

  7. Lol the indignity of it all 🙂 I hope you guys have an awesome night and a great new year. We’re looking forward to keeping up with all your adventures in the new year.

  8. They seem just a bit laid back about ringing in the new year….LOL. That’s how we are too, we don’t even stay up to see midnite any more (sometimes we’ll leave the TV on and wake back up to see the ball drop…LOL).
Happy New Year….may 2015 bring all good things!
