We had beautiful weather this weekend which meant that we were able to get out to train both days.  The dogs loved it.  They worked on some things that are difficult for them, but they did not care.  They were out in the field working.

Freighter is three so of course he is ready for anything.  Storm is older and you would think that after working hard all weekend she would be tired…

…but no.

When we finished Storm was ready for more.  She hopped back into the truck and found the bucket of bumpers and was ready to go back out.

I will share some of what the dogs worked on in future posts.

  1. It’s nearly impawsible to make them tired… Easy only sleeps when I read a book to him :o) It’s great to see the joy in her eyes as she discovered the bumpers :o) My dad says it’s so easy to make a dog happy… while he looked at my mom… no idea why LOL

  2. Now that is a picture of a Happy Dog! Storm is all smiles wanting to go out with more bumpers. It sounds like it was a great weekend!

  3. Storm’s pure joy is so apparent! Happy girl, happy days!

  4. That is one of the reasons I adore Storm! She is so enthusiastic and gives it her all.

  5. Mom read somewhere recently, dogs without jobs or anything special to do sleep like 18-20 hours a day, but dogs who work and are active in work or sports don’t need nearly as much rest which means the conditioning really keeps the body going. Interesting stuff.

  6. Storm reminds me of Cricket….you just can’t wear her out when she’s doing something she loves!
