Today is the first full day of winter.
Yeah right.
If you follow the blog, you know that the brown dawgs love snow. We had some snow back in November and the dogs had a blast.
But since then, not much. We got a light dusting last Friday, but it amounted to nothing.
Not enough snow to romp around in. Not enough snow even to get a good mouthful, although Freighter tried. Then it rained and washed all of the snow away.
With temperatures predicted to be in the 50’s today, we can count on more rain rather than snow.
Old Man Winter, you are going to have to do better.
Sorry Freighter, I’m not complaining about no snow, but it would be fun to play with Preacher in it since this is her first winter.
Yep, as you know (and mentioned) the weather is super freaky here in Michigan right now! We are going to have thunderstorms tomorrow! NYC is supposed to go into the 70s!!! DakotasDen
We feel your pain down here on the bayou! It is in the 70’s so Christmas shopping in your shorts is the norm.
We all miss the snow here big time too! There was about a 1/8 inch dusting overnight, and it made Bailie and I totally wild this morning. We wanted to race and play for hours! Hoping for some more white stuff on the weekend and also hoping it finally gets cold and stays cold.
We got about an inch yesterday. We can send it your way, if we can get it before it melts.
We haven’t had any snow here yet in CT, either. And it’s supposed to be 70 degrees on Christmas Eve day. Crazy!
Are you up for a road trip? You’ll have to cross the Rockies for winter, we got about 6″ overnight and more to come. Oh by the way, the predicted low for Saturday is -8.
We are severely lacking in the snow department too!
