Today I am sharing some photos that were taken of Freighter by Jenny Risher Photography.

If you are a long time reader, you may remember that I mentioned that Freighter had some pictures taken at last year’s Michigan Winter Dog Classic dog show at the request of a photographer.  Freighter was not exactly cooperative since the pictures were taken on Sunday at the end of a long weekend at the show.  He was tired and a bit concerned about standing on the back drop.  Since there were a lot of people and dogs milling around at the show, we elected to keep him on lead for the photos.

I was happy to receive  the pictures last week as we were preparing for this year’s show.  Despite an uncooperative Freighter, the photographer managed to capture a lot of great photos of him.  It was tough to choose but I selected five of my favorites for this post (6 including the featured image).

  4. They look great, and not every dog wants to be a famous model, so he did a good job despite not wanting to model.

  7. He is such a gorgeous dog. We’ve had our pictures taken twice. One session was just me and Rodrigo and the other was me and all the dogs. Professional photographers astound me, because I thought I’d get one good picture, I got tons that I still use today.

  9. He’s such a handsome fella! I’ve only had one photoshoot done with the pups, and it was by an amateur photographer to raise some money for a shelter. The pictures turned out ok, but we had fun! I’d love to get some professional pictures done though. Maybe sometime this year, who knows?!
